Trends at the Oscars

Apart from the recognition of talent,awards shows bring with them fashion,trends and style.The 83rd Academy Awards was no different as there were lots of trends to behold.From lace to shimmers to chiffon and even feathers most of the stars looked amazing .I had a tough time picking out favorites but these are the looks i absolutely ❤.

Mandy Moore looked divine in this Monique Lhuillier number.  Opting for no jewelry was a good idea as the dress had the right amount of sparkles and shimmer. 

Sandra Bullock looked every inch the diva that she is, in this gorgeous Vera Wang dress.

Hilary Swank looked gorgy in Gucci Premiere couture.She definitely worked the feathered look.

This Charles James dress from Lily et Cie got lots of bad reviews on twitter.Although i would have prefered it in a different color, i think Marissa Tomei looked absolutely fab in it.

Camille Alves glamed up the red carpet in a black Kaufman Franco dress.

J Hud looked gorgeous in this lovely shade of orange.Apart from the cleavage which looked somewhat odd, she worked her new slim figure in this Atelier Versace Spring 2008 dress.

Halle B was breathtaking in this crsytal encrusted Marchesa gown.

Mila Kunis was my favorite of the night.She looked A.M.A.Z.I.N.G in this lavender Elie Saab gown.Lace detailing and chiffon never looked so good.

Leona Lewis: Yay or Nay?

In the past week, Leona Lewis has been spotted  in all sorts of mid riff baring tops and body con skirt. I really am on the fence with this trend Leona has going on. I absolutely ❤ the colors, but wearing the same style over and over again within couple days??

My favorite look is the yellow chiffon bow top (I really love that shade of yellow).What do you guys think? yay or nay?

Blue Scarf,Green eyes

Happy Hump day people :-). So, I was chilling at home the other day and decided to be creative with my hair. I've been finding it hard to style my hair and sometime last week, I found that twist outs(two strand twists) and scarves work really well with it.The eyes: I felt like green eyeshadow and voila...nothing spectacular but just thought to share.

Gosh!!My hair looks really greasy.

I guess my point and shoot camera isnt that bad after all. Enjoy the rest of your week.

...just another lame post

I know I have been terrible at updating the blog this year. My DSLR camera started acting up just before the New Year and I only just had time to take it back. I really hate using point and shoot cameras, hence the hiatus in "outfit of the day" posts.

Anyways, just thought I’d share some pictures I took in Vegas this January. I was at Caesars Palace when I came across this H & M store. I was gob smacked by the visual display and the size (It actually is the largest H & M store in North America).I loved the design and visuals and I just had to take pictures.

...hopefully, my camera comes back this week and then its business as usual.Enjoy the rest of your week chicas
