I have never been a fan of animal print but i think i may have just changed my mind after seeing Rihanna in mis matched Leopard print colors .This is really hot.

I came across Adesuwa Aighewi on One Nigerian Boy last week and i immediately scurried off to find out more about her. Adesuwa is a student(B.sc Chemistry in progress) at the University of Maryland.The 5"9 model is of Nigerian and Thai/Chinese origin and is signed with Race Model Management,New York. I predict a successful modeling career for Adesuwa...watch out Chanel Iman.

There are some people who know what they want to be when the grow up and waste no time in getting there.Patricia is one of such people, at only 21 years old , Patricia Wakaimba owns Bahati, fashion line that includes clothes, bags and accessories. This enviable Kenyan is currently studying Finance & Economics at Kings College London and is also certified in Surface Design from Central Saint Martins London. Patricia describes her brainchild as an African inspired fashion collection embracing the continents infinite cultural diversity through the use of bold, rich and vibrant prints.

I went on the Bahati website and was extremely impressed by the designs on there. All the pieces are African inspired and they are fun and flirty . With varying colors, print and special embellishments there is something for every woman.

Hanging the Bling

Before, i started hanging up my 'bling"(i wish), I wasn't getting a lot of use out of them because they were in a jewelry box and trying to get them out of the tangled mess they were in was always too tasking. At other times, i simply forgot what jewelry i owned because they were out of sight.
Anyway, sometime last year i went apartment hunting and in one of the rooms, the owner had her jewelry arranged on a rectangular piece of cloth that was hung on the wall. I copied this idea using a place mat purchased from a dollar store and ever since, my jewelry life has changed for the better. It is so convenient picking them out because i can them all at one glance.

Circles,dots, spots or whatever name you wish to call them are a major trend this season.From the runway to the sidewalks, they have taken the fashion world by storm. This is what i wore to run errands sometime last week (you know i just had to do my thing in front of the camera before leaving the house).

Style Alert: Keri Hilson

It's Ms Keri baby, looking all fab and extra fly in an Emilio Pucci dress she rocked this past weekend.The dress does a lot for her and accentuates all the right body parts.I absolutely love love the dress and i think she made the right choice with the shoes and bag.





















I found a similar dress by the same designer. It cost $$1,860.00 at Saks (ha!ha if only i could afford it)

I just found the website of Agbani Darego, first Black to win the Miss World crown ( she is from Nigeria too-WORD!!). I was really blown away by some of the pictures in her portfolio.I had no idea she'd been a L oreal girl. Anyway, these were the pictures I really liked and i thought she looked utterly fab in.
